This week’s Solo Pro Radio guest wrote his first book at the age of ten…and he was rewarded for his persistence in weathering 160 rejection letters when the book was published—just three years later!
Imagine: 13 years old, and already a published author.
And the story just gets better.
Rajesh “Raj” Setty is a serial entrepreneur and a business alchemist based in Silicon Valley. He currently serves as the co-founder and president of WittyParrot, Inc., which can help you solve three debilitating problems: brand inconsistency, sales inefficiency, and lost sales.
Raj has also been instrumental in founding several technology and publishing companies in the US and India, and has been a member of the Band of Angels, which facilitates capital investment and mentorship activities for Silicon Valley’s best seed stage startup companies, since 2007. He is an award-winning teacher at the Founders Institute and a mentor at Thiel Foundation’s 20 Under 20 program. Raj has been blogging since 2005 and as of today, has more than 1833 posts on his blog.
And as we already know, Raj is also an author—and six of his twelve books were published by the time he turned seventeen! Those first six included four murder mysteries, one mathematics book, and one collection of poetry.
Can you say “wow”?
You definitely won’t want to miss this conversation. Tune in to Solo Pro Radio on Wednesday, May 22nd at 11 AM PST/2 PM EST (or any time after that!)—we can all learn from Raj Setty’s incredible story.
