Last week I met with a fabric/textile designer who is using her talents to make fabulous fabric that can be used for clothing or exclusive lingerie. I am helping her cost her fabric and her garments so that she can put together a price list and thereby approach boutiques to purchase her art-wear. The goal is to structure her offerings so that buyers understand how to purchase her work. And, so that she can make enough money to support herself. She is adding a business mind set to her artistic talent, a combination that will help her become a financially successful creative entrepreneur.
