Sometimes running your business is a true workout: it takes persistence, consistency, and endurance…and sometimes it can leave you feeling exhausted. When it comes to exercise, you can head to the gym, take some aerobics classes, or talk to a personal trainer. But what can you do to get help with your business fitness?
Joanne is a visibility strategist who has always known she wanted to be in radio. “As a kid, I used to read the back of shampoo bottles while I was in the bathtub pretending to be on the air,” she writes. At the young age of 16, she started working with a local Minneapolis radio station when one of the announcers recognized her talent.
Today Joanne is a media insider and veteran publicist who operates on a first-name basis with hundreds of top-tier producers, editors, and writers at a huge variety of outlets, including USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Investment Business Daily, The View, Today, The Huffington Post, Yahoo, and many others.
It was her passion for fitness—including adventure runs and boot camp programs—that led her to make the comparison between working out and working on your business: sometimes it’s fun and easy…but sometimes it’s incredibly challenging. When it gets hard, do you quit or do you persist and build endurance? She started her Media Boot Camp to help entrepreneurs, consultants, coaches, speakers and authors to go much bigger; she deigned it specifically in order to help her clients achieve the endurance and presence needed to achieve their visibility goals.
