Michelle De Lude, Consulting Hypnotist, Destinations Hypnosis.

Michelle’s journey of re-inventing, re-visioning, and re-creating:  “I worked for a hypnosis clinic from 2007 to 2017 when they closed their doors.”  She is passionate about hypnosis and, according to her clients, she is good at it.

So she began exploring classes at the Small Business Development Center.  After working with Jackie, she opened her own practice in July 2017.

Updates since this article was first published:
What’s working now? “I’ve been sought out more and more by clients who want to manage and reduce personal and professional stress.  They want to eliminate coping behaviors such as excessive worry, impatience, frustration, procrastination, drinking, smoking, and unhealthy eating.”
In November 2017, she was accepted as a member of the Westside Professionals Chapter of BNI.  “I currently serve on the 2018-2019 Leadership Team, on the Membership Committee. The chapter allows me to tap the expertise of health-care professionals within our chapter, including a naturopath, chiropractor, and functional wellness coach.
De Lude describes one service: “The Total Tranquility service is a 90-minute service to relax body and mind through 45 minutes of bodywork, including hot stone-massage and essential oils, followed by a 45 minute hypnosis session.
“In February 2018, Destinations Hypnosis moved to The Book of Jane in Central Beaverton.  This is where four female entrepreneurs assist clients in the Art of Self Care:
  • Michelle De Lude, Destinations Hypnosis
  • Jane Crawford, The Book of Jane
  • DaLynn Roberts, New Moon Bodywork
  • Stephanie Magee, Body & Soul Massage
“Currently, the four of us host a donation dropbox for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®  Movers for Moms® spring program.  This helps moms in crisis on Mother’s Day by arranging gifts delivery to women living in local shelters.

“Gifts will be delivered to Bradley Angle House this year.  Bradley Angle’s mission is to serve all people affected by domestic violence. They provide safety, education, empowerment, healing, and hope.  We are currently seeking donation partners to host a drop box for collection.”

In March 2019, she offered an introductory class in Mind Mapping.  It had been well recieved.  It will be repeated in June along with an Advanced class.
“Also in March 2019, Jane and I rolled out the first and only dual-practitioner tandem bodywork-hypnosis service in the state of Oregon. The Total Tranquility service is a 90-minute service to relax body and mind through 45 minutes of bodywork.”
She joined the Beaverton Chamber of Commerce as a partner in May 2018.

BSR Take Away:  “Go for it!  Don’t wait!” she admonishes. “You learn by doing.  So many want you to succeed.”
