Encore Entrepreneurs: Required Reading

bookThe past three episodes of Solo Pro Radio have featured a series of conversations between Jackie B. Peterson of Better, Smarter, Richer and Doug Lundrigan of Lighthouse Business Solutions.  They discussed what it takes to be an encore entrepreneur in the brave new world of the 21st century businesses–and best of all, they gave listeners some practical tips about how to navigate all the cultural shifts.

Perhaps the most important takeaway is that it’s never too late to learn something new: you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! What we know is that for encores to be more successful as consultants and advisers to 21st-century organizations, or for them to find successful employment in 21st-century organizations, they need to be aware of how business culture has changed in the last 20 years and adapt themselves to these new business norms.
